Former American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry's namesake band, Daughtry, will release their second studio album, Leave This Town, on July 14th, 2009. The new record is said to be much heavier than the debut release and will feature songs co-written by Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic, and Jason Wade of Lifehouse. The album was produced by Howard Benson (Hoobastank, P.O.D.). The lead single is "No Surprise" and hit radio stations on May 5th.
